In the class, we practically learned how to design a bag in a Prada’s geometric print an how to use water colour pencil properly. Therefore, we learned how to create patterns from the faces we drew smoothly and used some apps to turn them even more interesting and apply them to the bags we choses and drew with the water and pencils.
I had so much fun generally in the class especially when I was using those apps to change the faces we collaged into unique patterns. I think the part where we turn those collages into classmates faces were really creative and interesting because you’re supposed to harmonise the colours in the face you drew. I believe that I am good at creating something different because I don’t really care what other people might say about my art because it is art it doesn’t supposed to mean same thing to everyone it should be unique to every eye and taste. There is a saying in my culture that “Colours and tastes are indisputable and I am fully agreed that saying which makes me go with the way of my style.
On the other hand, I struggled a little bit of choosing the colour pattern to the designs because I want my designs to symbolise their main source. By means; when you look at the designs you must understand where it’s coming from and the colours obviously. Maybe, it is because of me being perfectionist which makes easy tasks way more harder than it should be.
In conclusion, there is probably a lot of things that I need to improve about myself but right now I’m pretty satisfied with my creative mindset and I don’t want to rush anything and be harsh on myself because art must be calming and improving day by day. However, after this class I realised that I must be doing things in order because I do tasks in a messy way which makes me get lost and distracted easily.
